I am brazilian and my english language teacher is from England.


He told me that the behaivior of brazilians men is very different from the uk men, related to flirt, attitude with women, etc.

They can be incredibly charming and disarmingly direct but at the same time they never ever express certain things that are commonly and openly discussed elsewhere in the world. They can be very traditional and at other times beyond modern. It's like meeting people who live simultaneously in the distant past and the distant future.





As for what everyone else has said -- I agree -- he's telling you in a roundabout English way that he is interested. But for an Englishman, this is probably as direct a communication as you will ever get. Consider this your first example of how they communicate, before you go any further if you want to...Women, how do men flirt with you, in UK?
Sounds like your teacher may be working up to coming onto you....lol! Perhaps he's been flirting madly and you just havent recognised it so he's telling you that British men flirt differently....hint hint! ;o) lol!
Im not from the UK BUT I THINK THEY DO FLIRT the same way maybe just in a diffrent language!
