Do white men GENERALLY think Latinas don't like them?

haha, seriously! I keep on seeing some questions regarding white men and Latina women. For example, ';do latinas like white men?';





Of course we do. Or at least I do. While I know that not every white man is willing to date outside his race, I also know that not every Latina would consider to dating outside her culture.





I'm half Mexican, half Central American but I'm American born and raised. I think white men are so attractive and Asian men are such sweethearts ^^ (I've dated Asian before, btw)





Now I live in a different community (predominantly white) and I would just like to know if anybody has any tips on interracial dating. I'm a very open minded person (:





-how can i find out if a guy is willing to date outside his race besides just asking him straight out? (i'm kind of shy to just ask somebody straight out like that)


-How do I let others know that I am interested and willing to date outside my race/ethnicity?


-Like I said before, do white men GENERALLY think Latinas are not willing to go out with them?


-Do Asian men think the same as the above question?

To be honest, I think alot of white men are under the impression that Latinas are not interested in dating them. Which is funny when I read yahoo answers and hear from Latinas saying that you guys are interested, lol. I think being friendly helps alot. Most white guys I know open up alot easier if they think the girl is open minded, and being friendly is the best way to show that without asking him straight out. You could also mention in passing how you think certain white guys are attractive as well, (like if you happen to find a certain white celebrity attractive, for example). That would send the message that you are open to the idea of dating a white man. Just like you guys are not sure if we like you, we're not sure if you like us. I'm white myself, and I wouldn't mind knowing what we white guys can do to let you Latinas know that we are interested.





Thank you for for what you said about white guys, btw. That was very sweet. I feel the same way about Latinas. Most white guys would love to date a latina, because you guys are warm hearted, interesting to talk to, have beautiful skin, and amazing curves. I like white men, but like you, sometimes i wonder if they like me.





White guys: if you want to date latina, stop being 'nice' and be blunt in your flirtatious ways with her. She'll definetely get the hint after that bc that's what MOST latinas like. They like to feel like they're being taken into account.
I'm white and I think latina women are the most beautiful of all the ethnicities we have in the U.S., but generally I'll stick to white women because I know that they'll go for white guys...I just assumed most latina girls wouldn't date a white guy.


O well, my school is 90+% white so I wouldn't have many latinas to pick from anyways!
Part of it is cultural / linguistic because many gringos think all should adopt their ways


it is my belief that if an anglo learns spanish he has a better chance if the woman grew up in a traditional family because such ties are often more important in Hispanic ones.
Girl Hispanic men are hot! Especially the ones with Indian and African descent in them, you don't like them? Take advantage, girl, take advantage!
as a white male i actually get more looks and attention from latin girls than from white girls.

My experience? Depends on which latinas you're talking about. There are a number of Mexicans where I work, and they generally avoid the 'gringo' men. Especially if there are Mexican men around. They (the females) seem scared of the Mexican men or what might happen if they get too 'cozy' with a white guy.





But when I was in Colombia a few years ago, I encountered some of the nicest, most charming women I've ever met. They seem to genuinely like white men and were more than willing to make the first move and say 'Hola' and strike up a conversation.
