How many of you think that flirting is cheating?

Part 1. Read a question that suggest because a married man was flirting with a lady's cousin that they considered this to be cheating. How do you feel about this? Does it matter who flirts, man or woman?? This question is based on a committed relationship.

Part two who flirts more, men or women?? Sorry two answers required for ten pointsHow many of you think that flirting is cheating?
Well, ';flirting'; can be taken way out of line for the flirting to actually be safe or just for fun.

I've known flirts who would just as soon sleep with you too, instead of just be flirting with you.

It can be safe and considered not cheating if it's all in good fun around a group.

BUT as far as I feel, I feel flirting can be considered cheating.

It does matter who flirts, men or women. Their both apt to go over the line.

And as for who flirts more......I'd have to say women do. Men usually only have to get a couple beers in their bellies before they feel their able to flirt! How many of you think that flirting is cheating?
I don't think flirting is cheating unless you push it too far. I think men and women flirt about equally.
It all depends on how far you go. If it is just a comment here or there, that's fine. I always act how I would want my wife to act. That way I don't get caught up in any drama.
Flirting is not cheating, but it is disrespectful to that person's significant other. Definitely if it is done in front of them. That calls for a slap and especially if it is a relative - that guy was a moron. It doesn't make any difference if it is a man or a woman doing the flirting.

I think men and women flirt the same. After all it takes two to tango.
i think that flirting is kinda cheating
If you are doing something that you would not want to do in front of your partner, i.e., flirting, then you are in dangerous waters and getting too close to cheating. As far as flirting, I think young women flirt more than young men and that older men flirt more than older women.
If i caught my man flirting....err i would kill him! Im sure he does it behind my back. I think its cheating when you get caught flirting. The matter of fact of who flirts? ya right. If someone flirts better that either spouse get caught at all!

Either i think both men and women flirt whenever they chose to if they know they wont get busted!
Flirting with your wife's cousin is low down. And women flirt more I think.
Answer for Question 1 I am a married woman of 18 years and my husband knows where my heart is I flirt and so do he but would I call that cheating...No I don't look at it as cheating if you see someone that looks good and is in good phsical shape and is appealing to the eye well you are simply expressing what you feel....I do and I am not ashamed of it and neither is my husband

Answer to Question 2 women do flirt , and men flirt so I would say that is 50/50 because like I said if you see something that looks good and it appeals to you then that is how you feel.
as I said before, thinking of another is not cheating, flirting with another is maybe a little cheat, but not cheating... kissing another is cheating... and women flirts more.
I don't think flirting is cheating... But then, I don't think sex is cheating if there are no emotions involved...
Yes I think flirting is cheating. When your in a committed relationship and you flirt with others the only message that sends out is that you dont care about your partner. If your friends wife always flirted with you wouldn't you think she really doesn't love your friend ?

Who flirts more ? I think both sexes flirt a lot. Men just take it further.
well yeah it can be looked apon as that but understand that flirting leads to something eventally if you keep doing it you can have a relationship with that person and it lead to you sleeping with the other person now that is really called cheating so to cut it off at the source you can't flirt with other women when your married
Flirting is not cheating. However there is Innocent flirting and the is intentional flirting with a goal in mind. Some people are friendly and happy souls. They can treat all people, where they have extreme differences in the relationships with that same flirtation.Exuding a warm ,approachable, welcoming manor and it's Innocent w/no intentions. Unfortunately people misconstrue there intentions, thinking that the person is interested. Depending on the receivers responce, it can be quite annoying. Gets old fast!
No,,,,I don't consider flirting cheating..

I think that we men tend to flirt a little more than the gals altho I love it when women flirt with me.
Part 1. I think that two people should discuss with each other if they consider flirting as cheating. If they agree that its not then its not and if they agree that it is then it is. But if any one party thinks that it is then the other person should take it under consideration to not give up the perception of flirting as cheating.

Part 2. I think that men flirt more.
Part one - I think that if you are in a committed relationship then you shouldn't really flirt with anyone else, but of course it is human nature. I do not think that a bit of giggle with another person is really bad, but as soon as there has been physical contact then it is going too far. A married man (or woman) should not cheat/flirt etc at all. Full Stop.

part two - I don't think that you can say who flirts more, man or woman. Both sexes are as guilty as eachother when it comes to things like that, and as I said earlier - it is human nature to enjoy some company of other people (especially of those we find attractive).

Basically I think that flirting is wrong if you are married, engaged or in a long term relationship...

:-)
Thats how cheating starts. First you start flirting after that you move to the next level. Yes, I would consider that cheating. It doesn't matter who flirts.

I would say both.
Flirting is as old as man. In the past, it was viewed with disgust and unfaithful men were considered out of tune with morality. But things have since changed.

Today, flirting is glamorized.

Unfaithful married men who covetously date other women are considered ';cool';. The act itself is regarded in some quarters as a 'legitimate' way to relieve stress.

Some men involved in this act of marital unfaithfulness attempt to justify their actions by comparing their wives to a pot of soup. You can鈥檛 continue to eat the same pot of soup everyday, can you? It gets boring, they say.

The internet has magnified this.

Some web sites promote what is called discreet flirting. Such web sites connect men and women, married or single, and encourage members to go beyond just friendship to something more intimate. These web sites openly promote illicit sexual behavior and tell married people that cheating on their partners is modern and smart.

Unfortunately, these web sites and their promoters have a great following. Consequently, flirting has grown from just an epidemic to a pandemic. No wonder many marriages are failing!

However, nothing can be further from the truth. The truth is, cheating on your partner is a betrayal of trust.

A cheat is not a good candidate for marriage

Any love relationship with a cheat is sure to hit the rocks

Anyone who partners with a cheating partner for love is partnering with failure

Bottom line. A flirting man lacks commitment. A cheating husband cannot commit to you or anyone. So, if you are serious about settling down and having a happy loving mate to spend the rest of your life with, make sure that person is a trustworthy man.

An unfaithful man lacks trust. A cheating husband does not understand the value of trust. He throws it away for a few moments of pleasure. Flirting hurts its victims badly. But the cheating partner doesn't give a damn about that. Now you see why I say a cheat is a bad candidate for marriage.

Flirting goes beyond just a betrayal of trust. It wrecks marriages and causes heartbreak. When the innocent partner finds out her spouse have been cheating on her, things are never quite the same again. Trust comes crumbling down and the relationship is at the verge of failure.

Just how important is trust and commitment in relationships?

Well, I'll tell you.

Trust is everything. Without trust, there is little point in having a relationship. Commitment, in real terms, is devotion to one person, one love, one partner and just that partner. Commitment engenders trust. Where commitment is lacking, trust disappears.

To illustrate.

Would you trust a man who tells you he's in love with you and only you but then tells another woman exactly the same thing to get her to go out with him? Most likely you won't. You know why? Simply put, he's not committed to you alone. And so you can't trust him to protect your interests.

In summary, flirting is a blatant betrayal of trust. A cheating husband is a criminal.

Flirting destroys marriages and indeed, any love relationship. Sure, having so many women around you is fun. Every woman is unique in her own way. Your wife is unique in her own way too. So, you may feel you can fool around with the women so you get the best of both worlds, the best of every woman's world.

However, those few pleasurable moments in another woman's arms will ultimately destroy your marriage. You will lose everything you've worked hard to build.

Is flirting worth the cost?

No, No, No.

Love your mate. Stay with her. Commit to her. Do not betray her. Do not look at another woman. Do not even fantasize about how life will be in another woman's arms. Maintain, protect, and defend your commitment to your wife.

Detest flirting.

Your mate will love you for it. She will trust you. And your love will last forever. You will live happily ever after. In the end, that is what counts.
I do not find flirting to be cheating, it is really dependent on the individual. Some people have flirty personalities, and this allows us to know that others find us appealing and attractive. Normal, no harm. My opinion is women flirt more than men, women usually encourage and bring on the behavior from the men. God bless****
They flirt equally and I do beleive that it's cheating.
flirting is not cheating.

flirting with her cousins is embarrsing for her man.

dont do that.
I dont consider it cheating
flirting is ok. just as long as its just that. no more
